When do I pay commission?
Commission is automatically deducted from each sale at the time of purchase. You don't need to pay anything upfront - the commission is calculated and deducted from your earnings before payout.
Are there any hidden fees?
No, we believe in transparent pricing. The only fees are the commission on sales and optional promotional fees if you choose to use them. There are no listing fees, setup fees, or hidden charges.
How is commission calculated?
Commission is calculated as a percentage of the total sale price including VAT. For example, if you sell a product for R1,000 and your commission rate is 10%, R100 will be deducted as commission and you'll receive R900.
What happens if a customer returns an item?
If a customer returns an item and receives a refund, the commission for that sale is also refunded. You won't pay commission on cancelled or refunded orders.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes will take effect from the next billing cycle.
How do I get paid?
Payouts are automatically processed to your registered bank account according to your plan's payout schedule. You can track all payouts in your seller dashboard.
Is there a minimum payout amount?
Yes, the minimum payout amount is R100 for all plans. If your earnings are below R100, they will roll over to the next payout period.
What taxes do I need to pay?
As a seller, you are responsible for your own tax obligations. NexusBuy provides you with detailed sales reports and invoices to help with your tax calculations. VAT is handled at checkout and remitted to SARS.
